The primary responsibilities of the Receiving Lead position are to be responsible for the efficient flow, tracking, and accuracy of all deliveries and transfers coming in and out of the store. This includes any/all deliveries and all related processes and paperwork.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

·         Oversee warehouse processes and personnel to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures. 
·         Operate a dolley and/or pallet jack, fork lift safely and efficiently 
·         Separate Special Orders from delivery and process according to store policy 
·         Establish and maintain strict organization standards in the backroom 
·         Ensure all inbound merchandise is checked
·         Maintain organized and accurate files for all paperwork related to the Inbound process.  
·         Oversee the proper procedures
·         Follow up on all damage claims and returns 
·         Answer customer service phone calls 
·         Maintain supplies as necessary 
·         Maintain warehouses and the receiving dock 
·         Maintain all communications with the carriers and IB logistic team.
·         Maintain daily dock doors log., 
·         Maintain daily drivers log sheet.
·         Assign staffs as require to off load and receive.
·         Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.            
·         Other duties may be assigned.         
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·         High School degree, some college preferred. 
·         Forklift certified
·         Experience in a warehouse environment 
·         Leadership/management skills 
·         Strong organizational skills 
·         Knowledgeable of warehouse policies and procedures 
·         Ability to communicate, relate well, and direct the work of others 
·         Ability to solve problems, work independently, and check accuracy 
·         Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus. 
·         Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:                
                                                                                                                                                                                                    
·         Work is performed in a warehouse environment with moderate exposure to: (a) fluctuating heat and cold temperatures; (b) some noise associated with forklift traffic; and (c) WHMIS chemicals 
·         PPE safety equipment must be worn and precautions exercised 
·         Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout an 8 hour shift  
·         Duties may require a high level of sustained visual attention for periods of time and moderate manual dexterity on a regular basis                       
·         Work requires the ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time 
Work requires the ability to bend, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, and stretch frequently
